Your program of holistic therapy is personalised and created to meet your individual needs and achieve your goals for recovery in the time you have available.
Headed by our Clinical Director your treating team will conduct a full assessment at the commencement of your program.
A medical screen will provide us with a full understanding of any existing medical and physical conditions which we need to be aware of and anything which can be attended to during treatment.
Your psychiatrist and psychologist will conduct a detailed psychological assessment to assist our team to understand the nature of your presenting condition and its underlying causes.
Your dietician will take a full dietary history and conduct testing aimed to identify nutritional deficiencies which can be addressed in your meal plan.
And your physical therapist will assess your fitness level.
From the information gained from these initial assessments and after consultation with you we will prepare your tailored holistic therapy program including psychotherapy, complimentary therapies, relaxation therapies, creative and recreational activities and a delicious and healthy menu.
Your program will treat your mind, body and spirit – we will identify and resolve the underlying causes behind your depression and/or anxiety (and any other issues) as well as substance abuse and return to you the energy and ability to enjoy all that life has to offer free from these burdens.
Your holistic therapy program will be designed to achieve lasting results in the time you have available and also to match your interests. Successful treatment will be accelerated if you are engaged and enjoying the process and the company of the people around you.
Holistic therapy also includes having fun
In addition to psychotherapy and other traditional methods your holistic therapy program will consist of a mutually agreed selection of complementary therapies and recreational pursuits designed to reignite old passions and/or help you discover new interests.
We have a huge range for you to choose from including yoga, meditation, exercise in many forms, personalised nutrition, art therapy and of course any therapeutically beneficial recreational pursuit you are interested in such as art, music, culture, writing, photography, water sports and hiking to name just a few.
